Sanders, 62„ a native of Waverly, Washington, ap pointed to the management of the Oregon Coast Highway As sociation, was one of the prin cipal speakers w hen our Azalea State Park w-as accepted by the state system and was a quite frequent local visitor during the nearly ten years he headed the coast association. He was long a member of the state highway advisory council in the travel and information department, a place he occupied at the time of his passing.
