The P rom sta rte d at 9:30 p.m. w ith the them e being Candyland. The gy m w as decorated in pink and w hite w ith a draw ing of a Candyland C astle on the W all. T here was a four piece band from Coos Bay. The Coronation w as held a t 11:00 p.m. Ralph Ingle and Joy G ott w ere crow ned king and queen of th e prom. C harlo tte Jensen, Ja n e t Glass, D oris Shu- ey, Phyliss Cole, N ancy C um m ings and Jackie S m ith w ere the Prom Princesses. One dance w as held for the royal court, only.
