An increased school budget to
take care of an increased student
load will cost the tarpayers of
this school district alxiut 280,000
dollars during this coming year,
according to a new budget fig
ures appearing this week in the
Pilot.
With increased estimated re
ceipts at $143,888, the total est
imated expenditures will run to
413,000 dollars.
H ow ew r, the school's c u r a t
ing budget will be $365,787, or
$56,000 higher than last year.
An added student load, and also
higher salaries were the main
reasons for the increase in the
budget.

Three additional teachers will be
hired at an additional $13,500,
and the present teachers will re
ceive $19,500 more in salaries,
accounting for $33,000 more than
last year.
Also an increase in capital
outlay was announced which will
provide funds for the purchase
of a new school site, and also

a fund for the replacement of a
school bus. And a larger amount

the emergency fund, to care for
