of 1951. H enry K err had purch

from Mrs. John G ardner.
Subsequently the new Post
Office building w as constructed
and w as ready for occupancy
in Ja n u a ry 55. Resides the K err

Building. H enry K err and his
wife moved to Brookings from
Packwood, W ashington, in 1946.

discharged in Ju n e of 1952 a fte r

for the fu tu re of the area. They
have been active in the civic
affairs of th e com m unity.

they s ta rte d out like so m any

ers. They purchased an 8-acre
tra c t of land and w ere in the
lily business.
