He had served on the Del N o rte board for 24 years, and w as the son of John and Jen n ie T ryon, pioneer se ttle rs in the F o rt Dick area, tie w as a m em ber of the M asonic Lodge, and L ake E arl G range, and w as active in com m unity afTafrs. H e is survived by his w ife T heresa, a son M urray of Fort Dick, a d aughter, Mrs. Byron W il son of S a n Francisco, and a bro th e r P resley T ryon of F » rt Dick.
