New tubeless tires, which offer g re a te r protection from blowouts, are standard on all models except those equipjted with wire wheels. Pow er brakes, offered as option al equipm ent on all models, have been redesigned for sm oother o p eration. A new a ir suspension principle gives fully adequate braking under all conditions. Im proved power steering is standard equipm ent on the Road- m aster and Super, and optional on all o th er models Previously power steering was stan d ard on the R oadm aster only. Buick today presented a com plete new-line of cars, featuring beautiful, all-new styling and m ore powerful V-8 engines, plus a revolutionary new variable pitch Dynaflow transm ission th at greatly increases perform ance. The new models will go on dis play in dealer showrooms Friday, Nov. 19. Style-wise the new Buicks fea tu re a new front end w ith a new wide-ssereen grille, new re a r fen ders that give the tru n k com part ment a longer, lower silhouette, new tail lights patterned a fte r those on the experim ental W ild cat If, and exquisite new interiors in m any color combinations of nylon, lea th er and cordaveen. Many bright new exterior colors have been developed for 1955 and will be offered in a ttra c tiv e two- tone and three-tone combinations. For the first tim e Buick is offer ing a two-tone combination under the sweepspear moulding. On two and four-door sedans the custom er will have a choice of one color underneath the sweepspear, a- nother above and a third color for the top.
