Boy Scouts W ill Sell Cakes Sat. 18 Boy Scouts will offer the public- beaut ¡fully decorated cakes on Saturday, April 18. to swell the funds for Jamboree expenses. The cake shown at Dimmicks will be made and decorated by Mrs. George Widney. The one dis played at the Chetco store will be made by Mrs. Don Craig, and Kathrine Smith will bake the cake shown at Redfields. Boy Scouts will be in charge of the sale, on which tickets will be issued for 25c each. The pub lic is invited to make an effort to help the Scouts in this project. Next Saturday other mothers will donate cakes to be displayed in the grocery stores, which will be won by someone with a sweet tooth. Legion A u x ilia ry Officers V isit The Oregon state president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Gayle Kreason, and district presi dent, Theresa Devereaux, will pay their official visit to Chetco unit on Thursday, April 23. A luncheon honoring the guests will be given at Don’s Cliff House, with a special program planned for entertainment. Another girl will be going to Girls’ State in June, expenses paid by the Legion Auxiliary.
