This also means pay earned during annual National Guard summer camp or reserve cruises or man euvers of two weeks or more. Servicemen must pay federal taxes on their military income except tor periods of service in Korea or adjacent waters, or for periods of hospitalization as the result ot service in Korea. Any income taxes owned by a service man who dies on active duty as the result of service in Korea by Uncle Sam. The Oregon bonus is exempt Irom state and federal income taxation, along with most other benefits payable to war veterans or their survivors, the State De partment of Veterans’ Affairs re I»orted this week.
