In te rm e n t was a t the B o llin g e r plot at W illia m James W a rd cem etery. Born M ay 21, 1875, at B urleigh, O nt., Can., he had no know n liv ing relatives. He came to B ro o k ings w ith M r. and Mrs. A. O. B o l lin g e r in 1933 fro m Bonners F e rry , Idaho, where the tw o became ac quainted w h ile w o rk in g fo r the U. S. Forest Service. M r. Bronson owned the p ro p e rty d ire c tly across Pioneer Road from the B o llin g e r home, w hich he sold to M r. and Mrs. G ran some tim e ago. M r. Mrs. DeMoss w ill live near the Asks in a new duplex being b u ilt there. A granddaughter, Lois (M rs E ric k A sk! also m akes her home on the island. Mrs. DeMoss came to this area at the tim e the old C. and O. Lum - her Co. sa w m ill was being b u ilt, saw B rookings prosper and de cline and now begin a new g ro w th of population. She w ill lx* missed sorely by a group of o ld -tim e friends, and a great m any new ones. B u ild in g Code Ordinance, No. 20, was passed by the c ity council June 3, and was made effective as o f that date. The code requires t h a t : No s tru c tu re o r part of a s tru c tu re shall h e reafter be b u ilt, altered, repaired, o r shall an in d iv id u a l sewage disposal system, o r an in divid u a l w a te r supply system lx* constructed u n til a b u ilding per m it therefore has been granted.
