KJ •5*5 Primary Ballot Adds To Confusion Friday, voters of this precinct and thousands of other precincts will go to the polls to cast ballots for their choices of candidates, fust how many voters are certain what they wish to accomplish? Certainly, with the pri mary ballots being as they are, with 60 degelates seeking nomination for delegates’ position at the national conven tion, it is likely that there will be plenty of confusion. I he Pilot would not attempt to suggest a choice, since there seems to be many “fogged’ issues. An advertise ment appearing elsewhere in this issue, calling attention to voting for eight delegates, does not clear up any of the confusion. W hat will I k - the result? fust like so many of the Oregon issues—no decision—more confusion. Politics is that way—more the confusion he is able to contribute, the better it seems the politican becomes. & > > Né M I his familiar scene will again play an important part in the forthcoming Azalea •estival, May 31 and June 1, when Brookings will again be the mecca for beauty- lovers from all over the state. Like all it predecessors, this year’s event will have its queen and court, and all the pageantry possible to stage.
