This will pro vide funds for the rebuilding of many of the Co-opera tive’s lines in Coos and Curry counties that the now over loaded due to the tremendous growth the area has ex perienced in the past five years, and for the construction . of 64 m iles of d istrib u tio n lines to serve alm ost 963 new custom ers. ! T h is grow th is expected to co n tinue and the p ro g ram of line re-building for the g re a te r p a rt of th e loan funds w ere requested is necessary to m ain tain a d e q u ate pow er to the consum ers in the co-operative’s service a rea of th e tw o counties. R e-conductoring and re-building of th e line from th e N orw ay su b -statio n th ro u g h Lee V alley and from the su b -statio n to B ridge is expected to g e t u n d er w ay this spring. This line will be changed to h eav ier co n d u cto r added and all single phase m ain lines con v erted to m u lti-p h ase.
