Shows Fortitude
The courage and cheerfulness
of Mrs. M errill, m other of Mrs.
Archie Hendricks, would m ake
most younger women, and men
too, blush in shame for their lack
of fortitude in a difficult situation.
Failing eyesight has denied her
the pleasure of intricate hand
work and reading of favorite m ag
azines o r books, but perhaps most
of all the correspondence with
old friends and distant relatives.
W ith a little urging and assist
ance from her daughter, Malissa,
Mrs. Don Redfield and two chil
dren of K lam ath Falls are spend
ing a couple of weeks at the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A r
th u r Pierce.
