But how many of us on Christmas day are made fully aware of Jesus Christ? flow many of us realize that this day has been set aside to commemorate I lis birth, a birth which transformed the thinking and acting of all the world and brought light and hope where had been onlv dark ness and despair? For no other man has had the impact on so many as has Jesus. 1 he past has given us many great military leaders and rulers and thinkers, hut where are they today? They are dead for the most part and forgotten by the world which forgets easily. Christ, th »ugh, still lives in the minds and hearts of humans throughout the world’s span who daily in their way of living give tes timony as to their devotion to Him and the lessons lie taught. Even in our world of the moment with the awful threat of war constantly with us, the teachings of this one man constitute one of the greatest forces to keep us from plunging into the abyss of total destruction; lor the lesson he taught was that we should love our lellow man. W ithout this lesson learned with which to coinh.it the forces of evil darkening the horizon, hopes of |K\ice would long ago have been forsaken.
