Poppies Will Be On Sale Fri., May 25 ricent work. Mr. and Mrs. DufT ì will be at the show Sunday af- ternoon. An artist new to this community is Mrs. L. T. Starks of Crescent City. M. Powe r Starks is a former resident of Boise, Idaho and John Day. She is self-taught, and paints land scapers. Many of the pictures on dis play in the art collection may be purchased. This gives the community an opportunity tq buy original paintings. Sidney ! Armer’s flower pictures are just iy famous and hank in homes of j discriminating art connoiseurs. Pernot Duff’s seascapes and landscapes are of scenes about Brookings and Harbor. She not only paints well but has a fol lowing here. M.
