THURSDAY. DECEMBER 14. 1950 GOLD BEACH Col. A. J. Russell Dies While at the Huggins Insur- / a nee Agency for a conference, % Col. A. J. Russell dropped dead Monday, Dec. 4, from a heart attack. He had been in ill health for the past two months. The Russells came here several years ago and became affiliated with the Huggins Agency. Young Homemakers Meet A group of young homemakers met at the home of Mrs. Harold Stokes Monday evening. Project leaders, Reta Ganong and Pauline Crook, demonstrated a few’ of the arts of Vegetable Cookery. Hostesses for the evening were Reta Ganong and Alyce Stokes. Silver Tea and Bazaar Ladies Aid sponsored a silver tea and bazaar in the basement room at the Community church, Friday from 12 to 4. There was quite a crowd despite the wea-। BRCOKINGS-HARBQR PILOT.
