Dale Jones, is stationed with the army in the Korean campaign. At the chamber of commerce meeting held last Friday, Fred Adams, representative for this district, told of the need for a hatchery on the lower Rogue. Different ways and means of how this may be accompnished, were discussed. A committee is to be appointed at a later date to assist Mr. Adams along this line. Representative Ellsworth, who was present, was introduced and tod of his fishing on the Rogue this trip. Later in the evening he was called on again and told of the harbor project and the possibility of dams on the Rogue. Questions were asked by mem bers and were answered. Mr. and Mrs. William Vaughn were here visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Richardson. Mrs. Vaughn was formerly Jean Richardson Wil liams. They will make their home at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bothwell and daughter who have been residing at Crescent City the last two years, have returned to their home on Jerry’s Flat. Edith Hoag, sister of Mrs. Geo. Richardson, has been visiting at the Richardson home at Wed- derburn. She returned to Hunt ington Park, Calif., where she lives, last week. Miss Yvonne Fromm, of Port Orford, has been visiting at the home of her brother, Lex Fromm of Gold Beach.
