Hanscam Sr. left for Portland, Monday, for her semi-annual checkup on her eyes. She was to be joined at Oregon City by her mother, Mrs. George Anderson, of Grants Pass, and the two will visit relatives for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Miller had as recent house guests, their son apd daughtefl-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Beverly Miller and daugh ter, Sharon, and Mrs. Miller’s mother, Mrs. Alice Eskridge, all of Oxnard, Calif. They remained for ten days. Because of the electricity out age, Tuesday, Gene Gould re mained until Tuesday morning to aid the Pilot, which was faced with one less day in which to publish a paper. Gene is a se nior in the journalism school at University of Oregon. Mr. and Mi's. Clifford Hall of Tomahawk, Wise., are visiting their old time friends, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Johns for several clays while enjoying the coastal scen ery and fishing. Subscribers to the Pilot for a couple of years, they have come to wish they may some day live here.
