Adventist Youths Enjoy Two Parties, Saturday Two parties were held last Saturday night under aspices of Seventh-Day Adventist young people’s society. An adult party was staged at the church school on Easy street. Several party games were played and dough nuts and cider were served for refreshments. A reparate party was held for the juniors at Chetco Inn. Hos tesses were Louise Ostenberg and Roberta Stafford. The children refrcshments and enjoyed several games and some skating. _______ —------------ Pistol River and Langlois Ex- tension units are the first two Curry county groups to elect of ficers for the coming 1950-51 year. Hostess for the April meeting of Ophir unit will be Viola Ra- ( malia, it was announced by Jackie Taylor, president, who added the meeting has been set for Friday. The meeting is to be held at the Ramalia home in Gold Beach when Miss Dorothy Newton, hda will show the fitting of slacks. and Mrs. Scott, who cater to’ fishermen from all over the en- tire globe. Three noted Rogue guides an1 employed at the lodge: Vajice, Don, and Edgar. Also, another ty-in is the flying service from this area to other airlines at North Bend and Crescent City. Near the mouth of the famous Rogue, here the fishermen will find his entire equipment needs from boats, motors, down to the tackle, and a definite ‘know-how’ about the places to find the wily Chinook. Tired of fishing, this camp features Rogue River trips that will keep most people aghast by the changing panorama of scenery along the banks.
