I Mrs. Cliff Brimm arrived late last week from Morton, W ash..! to make her nome in Brookings.! Her husband. Cliff Brimm is at present erecting Brimm Bros, mill on the old mill pond. The plant is expected to bi’ in oper ation within a week or so. Mr. and Mrs. Art Kirkham of Portland, were Thursday evening ar.d Friday visitors in this area. While here they called on the Crissey family and the Vincent family. Mr. Kirkham is formerly city editor of the Oregon Journal and is now on the city desk. Clarence Howie, of K lam ath Falls, w’as a w’eek-en visitors of his mother. Mrs Charles Schaal. He brought with him a cushion unit machine which will m ateri ally help Mr. Schaal in his rap idly expanding upholstering bus iness. Mr. Schaal boasted of its benefit, to the Pilot Monday. Mr. and Mrs V. A. Vincent of Newberg were visitors over the week-end in this area. They were accompanied here by th ir grand son. who is visiting his uncle, Paul W hirry. Mrs Vincent left by stage, Sunday for Newberg, while Mr. Vincent remained for the Rotary meeting.
