It seems that many taxpayers are under the im­
pression that the present school tax levy will re­
main in effect for several years to come, Mrs. Dora
E. Beaulieu, clerk of the hoard told the Pilot late last
week, but this is not necessarily a fact.
The school board wishes to point out that in the
last budget, the following amounts >vere levied:
$12,000 for repair and maintenance of buildings;
$10,000 for new buildings, as well as a five-year
serial levy in the amount of $10,00 a year for new
