Lake Earl Grange held its reg ular monhly meeting last T hurs day evening at the hall at Fort + DickT Several im portant m atters and business affairs were taken care of by the Grange. Several applications were received for membership. A report was given by the home economics club. Pot luck supper will be at the Aug. 1, meeing. W allace Jamison gave a report of the auction to be held July 21. M aster Ham ap pointed Bernie W hite and Floyd Haney as chairm en of the Grange booth to be put up at the Del N orte County Fair, to be held Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 and 2. The Grange hall has been granted to the bulb growers to hold a m eet ing July 22. The lecture program was in charge of teen-agers with Frances Bell as chairm an. At the close of the m eeting all ad journed to the banquet room to enjoy a waterm elon feed. A county-wide 4-H club tour and picnic wul lbe held Sunday, July 28. Farm Advisor H arry Tucker of E ureka will be held to assist the leaders. Oliver Bailey of Fort Dick and Clarence W est brook of Smith River with the boys and girls, and parents will enjoy the tour to visit each club m em ber's home, to look over the projects.
