Jenkins returned Mon day from* Gold Beach where he had spent a few days on business. A fter being closed down for a couple of weeks due to sawmill breakdowns, the Curry County Lum ber Co. planer was in oper ation Monday. Mr. Kessler be lieves the mill will keep him in operation more or less steady since repairs have been made. F. A. W aters, George Lovett, and Ray Miller are on a business trip to Bakersfield, and Avanell, Calif., getting delivery’ of about the last equipm ent for the mill which they are building north of Brookings. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jacobs of San Diego., Calif., have been vis iting his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Jacobs on Easy S treet. The young Jacobs plan to retu rn here soon to make this their perm anent home.
