An overflow crowd of well-wish ers, triends and parents attended w hat was acclaimed to be one of tho most impressive commence m ent exercises ever held in this area. The gym nasium stage w as beautiful, decorated with calla lilies, azaleas, with a back drop of lupine, and wild lilacs. Dr. Stevenson, in addressing the graduates, sa.d that young people leaving high schools today, face a world vastly different from what previous g raduates met. He stated that with the advance m ents in scientific and m echani cal knowledge, the students of today, when they m ake th eir way into the outside world, will find m ore leisure time.
