WHAT’S HAPPENING THURSDAY DECEMBER 1 The HIV Alliance is hosting Celebrate and Remember this World AIDS Day on Thursday, Dec. 1. The event will remember people who have died and will celebrate the nonprofit’s efforts to eradicate HIV and celebrate the group’s successes, according to William Bourget with the HIV Alliance. A performance of How to Be a Sissy, a play written and performed by Lane Community College professor Brian Haimbach, is also slated for the event.
