Barn Light co-owner Thomas Pettus-Czar tells KVAL-TV: “As opposed to other environments in which [music is] sort of in the background, this is an opportunity where folks can grab a beverage, sit down and really pay attention to the artists.” Look for show announcements soon. Also, California indie-rockers Silversun Pickups return to McDonald Theatre with Joywave 8 pm Wednesday, June 8; $29.50-$35, all-ages. And ’70s glam rock-heavy metal megasauruses KISS come to Eugene, July 9 at Matthew Knight Arena; tickets on sale April 15. This week, Chris Robinson Brotherhood (formerly Black Crowes) comes to Hi Fi Music Hall 8 pm Sunday, April 17; $25, 21-plus. That same night, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers return to Eugene 8:30 pm at Cozmic; $15 adv., $18 door, 21-plus. On Tuesday April 19, TAD Talks: Innovation District comes to downtown’s McDonald Theatre.
