Broadway By some cosmic fluke, Lane Arts Council’s First Friday ArtWalk and Downtown Springfield’s Second Friday Art Walk are scheduled to take place at exactly the same time. Hosted by LAC executive director Liora Sponko, the First Friday ArtWalk — postponed from New Year’s Day — begins 5:30pm Friday at the Jacobs Gallery in the Hult Center. Artist/arts activist Paula Goodbar leads Springfield’s Second Friday Art Walk, which meets 5:30pm Friday at Springfield City Hall, 225 5th St. Both guided tours make five scheduled stops. Other participating galleries in downtown Eugene and Springfield stay open till 8pm or later. Some offer refreshments and live music.
