The hyper-prolifi c Johnson is touring his way through Western living rooms in support of his recent solo release, Swan City Vampires. It’s a record built on unassuming melodies, sly hooks and spare arrangements — the kinds of songs that leave plenty of room for Johnson to stretch out and let his voice carry the weight.
