Still growing strong after 37 years Hard Times Distillery will be opening a tasting room at 547 Blair Blvd., across from Tacovore and next to Mame. “The neighborhood has become known for food, beer and wine, but now there are locally made distilled spirits as well,” says Ben Maude of Hard Times. Cycling for Veterans is planning the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway Veterans Ride Saturday, June 28, and is looking for volunteers and other support. The ride this year is from Champoeg State Heritage Area south of Newberg to Willamette Mission State Park north of Kaiser, a distance of about 18 miles. Market of Choice will donate drinks and food and the city of Eugene will donate a van and two interns to help. More food, more volunteers and some shuttle pickups and drivers are needed.
