CALENDAR What better way to support conservation than by dancing? And this isn’t just any dance — it’s the Ancient Forest Hoedown, complete with square dancing, bluegrass music by Blue Flags and Black Grass, a vegetarian chili dinner and a bonfi re to round it all off . Cascadia Wildlands works to restore species like wolves to the West Coast, protect habitat and forestlands, including the Elliott State Forest, and raise awareness of local environmental issues. That’s a pretty good reason to get up and dance.
