The Lane County Farmers Market has just taken a fresh start on Thursdays at Fifth Street Public Market, the Fairmount Farmers Market be- gins this week on the southeast corner of 19th and Agate, Spencer Creek Community Growers’ Market launches the season’s second meet this Saturday, and the Cottage Grove Growers Market and Dexter Lake Farmers Market are already underway. Fresh, local produce, friendly Oregon handshakes and toothy smiles glinting in the newborn sunlight. What else is summer for?
