The event will not only benefi t local, pro-Africa nonprofi ts (Ancient Ways, Tariro, Friends of Kenya Schools and Wildlife), but will also be a rip-roaring rager of an evening. Gracing the bill are some local musical favorites, including Kudana Marimba Band, Dunyah and Americanistan, and comedian Jennifer Sparklebritches will emcee the night. Also on the roster is a silent auction, and the whole thing takes place at Cozmic, so you can grab some delicious pizza and boogie down. Happy New Year’s and happy African dance!
