what's happening Beyond being a certifi ed cutie, Colbie Caillat’s got both musical talent and pipes. Team that up with all the sunny disposition and poppy, fun-loving rhythms of a ‘90s beach party and you’ve got a heck of a lot of smiles on your hands. Her music sounds like the way you felt when you had a crush on someone in seventh grade and found out that the feeling was mutual. It’s innocent, feel-good music that could probably blow away the darkest cloud and leave only brilliant, radiant sunshine, and here’s hoping that’s what she’ll bring to the Cuthbert on Friday. Colbie Caillat & Gavin DeGraw play 7 pm Friday, Aug. 31, at Cuthbert Amphitheater; $35 adv., $50 door. 30 thurs Sunrise 6:34am; Sunset 7:51pm Av High 81; Av Low 50 BENEFITS Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser, 11am, Cozmic.
