Oregon Brewers Festival Oregon’s big beer event
has a lot to recommend it, from the more than
80 beers from all over the country to the exhibits,
restaurants, soda garden, live music and vendors
to the fact that the festival recommends alternative
modes of transportation (which makes extra sense
given that they want you to enjoy their beer). FREE
bike parking is available and the whole shebang is
just blocks from the MAX line. It all begins with the
Oregon Brewers Brunch (10am, $36 for food, two
pints of Deschutes beer, a T-shirt and a $10 festival
tasting package) & parade, which begins at 11:30
am July 28 at Deschutes Brewery’s Portland Public
House and winds its way to the main festival’s
