Sound/Movement/Art Camp July 2-5 ($125/short week) or July 30-Aug. 3 Inspired by artist Nick Cave’s Soundsuits, join us for a week of hands-on costuming, noise making, and artistic movement. Learn and create with sound, sewing, materials and movement to assemble a suit of wonder that takes clothing assemblage and ingenious noise-making to unknown horizons. Parade and performance in suits will take place on last day of camp. Earth Works Art Camp July 9-13 or Aug. 6-10 Inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy’s movement to use the earth as his medium. Come explore the mediums of earth and water as we collect and assemble earth matter into natural creations. Allowing us to experience the natural world in a hands-on, artistic way. Projects will take place out doors around Skinner’s butte and surrounding park areas. Art works will be allowed to live their lifespan in nature for all to admire. A slide show of the week’s creations will be posted online for students and families to admire.
