The seven members come from different musical backgrounds and share a passion to create great music with an ability to absorb influences from across the globe. “One of the most brutally euphoric live expe- riences a music fan can enjoy!” – BBC radio SOLAS Since its birth in 1996, Solas has been proclaimed as the most popular, influential, and exciting Celtic band to ever emerge from the United States. Even before the release of its first CD, the Boston Herald trumpeted the quartet as “the first truly great Irish band to arise from America” and the Irish Echo ranked Solas “among the most exciting bands anywhere in the world.” DELHI 2 DUBLIN D2D is a group of six master musicians who blend electronica and world music, keeping it heavy on the Bhangra, Celtic and Dub flavors. Fusing tabla, celtic fiddle, dhol, Punjabi vocals, and electric sitar with scorching electronic beats, D2D takes listeners on a wild ride through global sounds and musical synchronicities, delivering scorching, foot stomping, high energy live performances all over the world. WOODLAND Based in Eugene, Woodland is a mythic fusion ensemble featuring the songcraft of Emilio & Kelly Miller-Lopez who blend original and traditional melodies woven with meaningful bardic poetry. The band’s music features a variety of folk and electric sounds, featuring ambient and acoustic instruments including harp, hurdy gurdy, guitar, didjeridu, flutes and violin. BROTHER Fusing signature vocals and guitar with the deep pulse of the didg- eridoo, the soaring highs of the bagpipes, and tribal percussion, Brother is wholly original. The band’s legendary live shows pulse with wild rhythms as with soul brothers Angus, Dalbo and Drew fill the stage with their energy and sound. TRILLIAN GREEN Founded on the wooded trails of the Oregon Country Fair in the early 90’s and comprised of Christine Gunn on cello, Ben Klein on flute, and Jarrod Kaplan on percussion, Trillian Green is known for their ability to inspire audiences to get up and stomp wildly to their energized celto-tribal acoustic sounds as driving, soaring melodies dance across the stage lit by three candelabras. TRICKY PIXIE Tricky Pixie is a musical fusion featuring guitarist and vocalist SJ Tucker, cellist Betsy Tinney, and fiddle and songwriting virtuoso AJ Adams. This wild, sexy, irreverent, and masterful trio mixes up a delirious blend of tunes for each unforgettable show. All three mem- bers of Tricky Pixie are prolific songwriters, and together they have a vast musical catalog of original tunes. ADAM HURST Influenced primarily by Middle Eastern, Indian Raga and European traditions, the original music of Adam Hurst is at once haunting, ethereal, evocative and romantic. Using the cello as a solo melodic voice, Hurst creates passionate and emotive musical poetry that digs straight to the soul.
