Friday’s Brew Fest Beer Dinner for the 2011 Sasquatch Brew Fest at the Hilton is already sold out, but if you know any good scalpers, ring ‘em up. The appetizer alone is reason to go — bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Rogue Creamery bleu cheese & spicy barbecue — but you’d stay for the craft beers paired with the meal. That’s all before the Beer Fest starts Saturday at noon. The festival showcases northwest craft brews in the memory of Glen Hay “Sasquatch” Falconer, a popular Eugene brewer, and helps fund brewing scholarships and other local charities.
