Beginning at 5:30 pm at The New Zone Gallery and continuing on to Eugene Storefront Art Project, Studio West, Full City Coffee Roasters and then Vistra Framing and Gallery, venues will host some of their best work from premiere artists. Hotspots to be on the lookout for include Big City Gamin with “Fool’s Gold,” displaying work by Brain Knowles, Keegan Gormley and others. The wool art of Tylar Merrill and multimedia dolls of Mari Livie both will be on display at ECO Sleep Solutions. The White Lotus Gallery will present “Faces,” a series of portraits from 19th century Japanese woodblock prints, and the fringe fi lm festival will show top entries from a recent video remix competition. Most importantly, there is always more. The beauty of ArtWalk is that you can stumble into the realm of a formidable artisan whose works can make your day or perhaps even change your world. It is a legit celebration of Eugene as a stronghold of artistic minds and endeavors. The best part remains: ArtWalk is always free.
