Monday kicks off fi ve days of non-stop fundraising for the furred and feathered critters
of Eugene. Each evening around 5pm WineStyles on Willamette will host different
animal-oriented nonprofi ts paired with an animal-themed wine tasting. So drop by,
meet the creatures from raptors to therapy dogs, enjoy demos (ever wanted to learn how
to trap a feral cat?) and sip wine while raising money for the beasties of Lane County.
Want a beastie of your own? Lane County Animal Services (LCAS) reminds you that this
month is Adopt-a-Cat month. You missed last week’s “Fat cat special,” but this week is
“Deal or no Deal” with bargain-basement kitty prices. Check them out at www.lanecounty.
