Gleason there in August 1935 The Gleasons moved to Portland in 1936 Mrs. Gleason stayed at home to raise the children, except during World War II when she worked in the Portland shipyards Then, from 1967 until she retired in 1984, she worked as a w aitress at T .J .’s R estaurant in Sandy The G leasons stayed in the Sandy G resham a rea after Mr Gleason s retirem ent She belonged to the Hollyview Baptist Church in Boring Survivors include her husband. Art G leason, G resham ; two children. H arriet Scales, Boring, and Bob H artliep. Rockaw ay, a sister. Cora Blanche Eox, G resham , eight grand c h ild re n ; and 18 g re a t grandchildren She was preceded in death by a grandson, five brothers and one sister Her family requests that m em orial con trib u tio n s be m ade in Mrs G leason's memory to Mount Hood Hospice. John U nger of C lackam as, and a sister. iXrnna Bevins of G resham S t e p h e n T e p lic k Stephen Arthur Teplick. a form er Hoodland resident, died of injuries from an automobile accident in I xjs Angeles on Jan 18 He was 25 Stephen was born in Pontiac, Mich . on Oct 6, 1962 He began his education in Michigan and when he was 12. moved to Oregon After living in Portland for a short time, the fam i ly moved to W emme where Stephen completed his elem entary education at Welches He received his high school educa tion at Sandy . and then worked in the mountain area at the ski resorts In 1987, Stephen moved to Ix»s Angeles where he worked in a sporting goods store prior to beginning employment in the construction industry Stephen was an avid snow skier and while living in Southern Califor nia. he enjoyed surfing While living at Government Camp. Stephen en joyed skateboarding and would often skate from Government Cam p to see Ins father at Welches S u rv iv o rs in clu d e his fa th e r. Richard Teplick of Eagle Creek m other.
