H, in the Sandy Union High School gymnasium The perform ance and lecture senes is patterned after the tent C h a u ta u q u a s th a t to u re d the backroads of America at the turn of the century. It features a mixed- m edia th e a tr ic a l p re s e n ta tio n . "T eatro Nuestro." The drama is about members of a fa m ily of Spanish-speaking im m igrant workers in the Northwest who must interpret their experience through the economic and cultural conditions of im m igrant life As drama portrays how the Sanchez fam ily must constantly face the ques tion of what it means to be in this land, both physically and culturally. Spanish and English are both spoken during the performance The singing group "Sandunga" provides a host of songs and musical in terludes Like its predecessors.
