Spring Country Run offers races, April 21 The second annual Spring Country Run is just around the corner, set for Sunday A p ril 21 at 11 a m The sta rtin g point w ill be at the Sandy High School T ra ck, but the course w ill be s lig h tly d iffe re n t from last year so as to include the newly developed scenic tra ils constructed by the E n viro n m e n ta l Education class at Sandy High School The 3000 m eter run which is only 1 86 m iles, w ill be run through fields and tra ils to m ake this course a challenging cross country type run The 10,000 m eter run w ill be equal to about 6.2 m iles, w ith the course looping west on Hwy. 26, around O rient D r., Kelso Rd . B lu ff Rd and finish off the last m ile through the scenic new tra ils. Race d ire cto r Scott M cM ullen and the Sandy Cross Country Team are each division There w ill also be a d ra w in g for m erchant contributions to be held a fte r the last race.
