The menu will consist of spaghetti, salad, beverage, garlic bread and a George Washington cherry dessert ' Tickets, at $3.50 a person, w ill be available at the door on a first come, first serve basis. A lively game of Bunco will follow the lunch, with prizes offered for the lucky winners Proceeds from the event will benefit the Loaves and Fishes program A group w ill be going to Mt Hood The February dine-out will be held at the Toligate Inn on Feb 27 with departure scheduled for 5:15 p m The Toligate Inn is offering a choice of pot roast or chicken fried steak, with soup or salad, vegetable, dinner roll, coffee or tea at a cost of $5, or soup and a turkey sandwich with tea and coffee for $4 A deposit of $1 is re quired Center A fu n e ral service for A lv ira Jackson was held Saturday, Feb 16 in the chapel of Sandy Funeral Home. Vault interment followed at Cliffside Cemetery Mrs. Jackson was born Alvira M argaret Nasmyth in Troutdale on March 5, 1914 She was raised in Troutdale where she received her education On March 8, 1930 she was married to W illiam Jackson They resided in Troutdale until 1935 when they mov ed to Fairview , where they made their permanent home and raised a fam ily. She was a member of the Troutdale Mrs. Jackson died in Gresham on Feb. 13 at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband. W illiam : seven children. Rose Low of Thayer, Mo , M argaret Welch of Fairview, Vernon Jackson of West Linn, Jean Erickson of Boring.
