On June 8, 1984 Portland General Electric Com pany (PGE) filed revised rate schedules with the Public Utility Commissioner of Oregon (PUC, to decrease electric service rates for residential and farm customers If the application is approved, residential and farm rates will decrease an average of 3 9 percent. Rates lor commercial and industrial customers will not change. If the proposal is adopted by the Fed eral Energy Regulatory Agency, it will be necessary to increase rather than decrease rates to residential and farm customers.
