C ity -w id e sole d u rin g & a fte r M o u n ta in F estival p a ra d e Thursday, Ju ly 7, u n til 10 PM Moonlight sale again set for after parade Sandy Area Merchants w ill stage th eir annual moonlight sale after the Mountain Festival parade Thursday night. July 7 Official hours of this tradi tional citywide sale will be 8-10 p m Many stores will begin earlier, due to late finish of the parade, which becomes bigger and bigger each year Some stores will stay open later than 10 p m that night, too, as the annual moonlight sale throughout the streets of Sandy has become a popular event on its own Dozens of stores from clothing shops to craft shops will take part Many will of fer free refreshments, and all will feature specially reduced prices Sidewalk sales Thursday after the annual parade have become a part of this tradi tional moonlight sale This year the merchants are seeking to finance the parade through sale of refreshments during the 7 p m July 7 parade along Pioneer Boulevard More bands and cominer cials en tries than ev er before will parade before spectators lining Pioneer Boulevard this year for the 1983 Sandy Mountain Days parade Led by Grand Marshal Cheryl Hansen, co-host of - P M Magazine ‘ on KGW TV, more than 100 entries will recall "Decade on the Mountain." theme of the parade Marching groups will in clude the Royal Rosarians, two groups of mountain men—the Barlow T rail Long Rifles and the Powell Valley Long Rifles—in traditional garb and the A1 Kader Shrine Flag Patrol Among the float entrants will be one carrying former grand marshal and televi sion star Lindsay Wagner The parade will begin at 7 p m at the west end of town and proceed east up Pioneer Boulevard The sale you've been w aiting fo ri BARGAINS th ro u g h o u t th e s to re !
