Bazaars highlight weekend slate
The Sands Golden \ge Club w ill
host a Christmas Bazaar at the
Sandy Senior Center, 38348 Pioneer
Blvd . tomorrow , Dec 3, from 9
a m to 5 p m
dy Assembly of God will host the
annual craft sale this Friday and
Saturday. Dec 3 and 4
Some of the items to be offered
include chilren's clothing, baby
q u ilts , stu ffe d toys, aprons,
potholders and some good, used
A variety of handicrafts, anti­
ques, jew elry, plants and baked
goods w ill be available for sale
from members and area craftsper-
sons
items.
Baked goods w ill also be offered
for sale and home-made chili and
pie will be served for lunch
Hours for the sale are 9 a m to 6
p.m Friday, and 9 a m to 4 p m
Saturday
The center's kitchen w ill operate
a k itc h e n c o n ce ssio n w ith
homemade snacks and luncheon
items for sale throughout the day
A portion of the proceeds from this
event will be used to support the
Sandy Loaves and Fishes program
which provides hot lunches to per­
sons over the age of 60 five days a
week
Cottrell sixth-graders w ill spon
sor a Christmas Craft Bazaar this
Saturday, Dec 4, at Cottrell Grade
School, corner of Bluff and Proctor

The class is trying to earn
enough money to participate in
Outdoor School this spring Cuts
The Women's Ministries of San­
eliminated the school from Cot­
trell's budget this years
Besides the money the class col­
lected from selling table space at
the bazaar, they have made crafts
to sell at their table
There will be hand-crafted items

there for the little ones as well as a
supervised play area for pre­

The second annual Old Fashion
ed Country Store and Christmas
Sale is planned this Saturday, Dec

don't like to throw things

district is eyeing a change
in that policy.
