Sandy home on Nov 3. He
was 84
Born Feb. 15, 1898 in
Brunot, Mo., he moved to
Nebraska when he was in
his late teens to begin work
as a farm er.
In 1924 he returned to
Missouri where he m arried
Stella Reed M r Chilton
continued farm ing and also
fished comm ercially on the
Mississippi River to help
pay his farm help
The fa m ily moved to
Oregon in 1936 and M r.
Chilton raised berries in
the Sandy area. During
World W ar II, he worked in
the Portland shipyards
He m a rrie d G retchen
Cox on April 10, 1956 in
Gresham They remained
in the Sandy area where
Guy retired in 1958. He was
a member of the Sandy
Senior Citizens and Golden
Age Club.
He is survived by his
wife, Gretchen; children,
