Mt Hood and the surroun
ding foothills joined in for
two days of demonstrations
and displays this weekend
at the Wy'East Day Lodge
at Timberline

The Hedum fam ily of
Boring operate a unique
business out of their home
They were there in full
force selling their unusual
products, which include
wine jellies and honey
soar*, made with the help
of t.800.000 bees
Jan Hedum and her hus­
band, Al, and their four
children, Dana, Karol, Jen­
ny and Ginger, combine
their talents in beekeeping,
crafts, and wine and jam-
making to form "Thatsmy
The fam ily products are
sold in rustic cedar and
redwood crates, which ac­
c e n t th e ir h o m e m a d e
labels Generally these are
topped off with some type
of handmade lace decora
tion.
In a photography exhibit
sponsored by Camera Con­
nection of Sandy was a
number of pictures from
local residents The works
of Doug Palmblad. Loren
Nibble, Dennis Dnes, Steve
Slaboda and Chuck Col­
eman captured some of the
natural elegance of the
moutain

Gifford Pinchot National
Forest lookouts, so it is no
