in all events but the bars,
competing about even in
the balance beam and the

though Coach Ron Grantz
said "some positive things
came out of i t . ”
The caliber of play was
tough, with six of the eight
teams ranked in the top 10
of the state
Although their 1-6 record
in the one-game round
robin tournam ent ja m
boree doesn't show it,
Grantz said they did play
up to the level of competi
tion
In addition, "we learned
about the competitiveness
of certain players,” he
said
Grantz has been playing
everyone on the roster but
said now he s "moving
toward more of a set line
up
At about midway in the
season the Pioneers were
4-5, and tied for fourth in
the Mt Hood Conference
