Salseth grew up in Zaire
where his parents, Harold
and Joan Salseth, have
served with CBFMS since
1949 Appointed to mis
sionary service in June
1978. Salseth will speak
about his goals at Pleasant
Home Baptist Church,

Salseth attended Judson
Baptist College in Portland
for two years before receiv
ing his bachelor’s degree in
history from Westmont
College in Santa Barbara,
Calif , in 1971 That year he

After his marriage to
Mikie Ann Jones in
Washington on July 12,
1971, they lived on the coast
where Mr Hanks owned a
realty office in Yachats
They moved to Sandy in
1976 where he worked part-
time doing tractor and
backhoe work
tie is survived by his
wife, Mikie; two children.
