Take-home pizza business set to go
A Damascus man in the
real estate business hopes
to make his new fortune
in a revolutionary take-
home pizza business with
a Sandy base
Don Dove has opened
Togo's Pizza. Inc. with
wife Pat and son Craig at
17480 Meimg Avenue next
to Williams Thriftway
Ironically, the site is
the former location of
Jo n sru d
&
Law son
Realtors who have merg
ed with Marcus Realty.
Dove said he's studied
new possibilities in the
pizza business, because
the real estate business
has gone sour
That lowers the price,
with only about 30 percent
of the price of a pizza
spent on on labor and a
w hopping 42 p ercen t
spent on food ingredients,
according to Don Dove
Eventually, Dove hopes
to open three such in-and-
out pizza stops he would
operate in Estacada and
east Portland
gram at Western Oregon
State College in Monmouth.
